Right Time - Right Choice

I am running for Barrington Area Library Board Trustee because I believe libraries are the heart of the community. I am concerned about the future of our library because there is a nationwide movement by some organizations to slash budgets, end programs and remove books.

This could happen in Barrington. Who sits on the library board can mean the difference between a thriving and vibrant library or one that is being dismantled.

As your Trustee I promise to work hard to maintain our library’s programs, services and materials. I want to secure our library’s future. Please help me do this.

Your vote matters on election day April 4. I believe it will determine the library’s future. Please cast your ballot for Jackie McGrath for Barrington Area Library Trustee.

Throughout my career as an educator, I have dedicated myself to not only teaching children to how to read, but to developing in them a lifelong love of reading.

I believe libraries enable this and will work to secure their future.
